History

Habitat for Humanity and the Super Bowl

2005: Jacksonville, Fla.
Habitat for Humanity International and its Jacksonville, Fla., affiliate partnered with the National Football League to build 39 new homes between October 2004 and the Feb. 6, 2005, Super Bowl XXXIX.

2004: Houston
In January 2004, more than 4,500 volunteers joined forces with Habitat for Humanity International and Houston Habitat for Humanity to build 38 homes in a symbolic 38 days during SuperBUILD, an NFL™ sanctioned event for Super Bowl XXXVIII.

2003: San Diego
Four National Football League players joined volunteers and homeowners to build a Habitat for Humanity house during the week of Super Bowl XXXVII in San Diego, Calif.

2002: New Orleans
Habitat for Humanity International and the National Football League worked together to help build a house with a New Orleans family in need during the week of Super Bowl XXXVI.
